Overview

The MC-2120 is built for multitrack tape users who want modern MIDI sequencing without giving up the tape transport as part of the recording workflow.

The MC-2120 combines a MIDI synchronizer and MIDI interface in one compact unit. It is intended for multitrack and multichannel tape recorders, analog recording enthusiasts and hybrid tape/DAW studios.

MIDI Song Position Pointer support allows a connected sequencer or DAW to locate and start from the corresponding position in a song instead of being limited to playback from the beginning. Move to a different position on tape, start playback, and the MIDI system can follow the song position.

The USB Type-C connection is used for both power and computer synchronization, allowing the MC-2120 to integrate directly with a DAW while retaining dedicated MIDI connections for external hardware.
